7 Application for warrant
An application for a warrant under this Part must be made in writing, supported by an affidavit, setting out the grounds on which the warrant is sought.
The Supreme Court must not issue a warrant unless—
the application for the warrant sets out the grounds on which the warrant is being sought; and
the applicant has given the Court, either orally or in writing, any further information that it requires concerning the grounds on which the warrant is being sought; and
the information given by the applicant is verified before the Court on oath (or affirmation) or by affidavit.
A Judge of the Supreme Court may administer an oath or affirmation or take an affidavit for the purposes of an application for a warrant.
