32 Objects of the Department
The objects of the Department include—
(a)
to give effect to the vision statement, the transport system objectives and the decision making principles; and

(b)
to review the strategic plans, corporate plans, business plans and budgets of sector transport agencies, VicTrack and the Chief Investigator, Transport Safety to ensure that they are consistent with the vision statement, the transport system objectives and the decision making principles.
