25 Functions of the Board
The Board has the following functions—
to build and develop relationships with emergency services organisations and related services organisations;
to build and develop relationships with public health agencies or any other prescribed agency to enable effective and efficient delivery of services provided by Triple Zero Victoria;
to establish and maintain a sustainable organisational framework for Triple Zero Victoria that meets future demand for services provided by Triple Zero Victoria;
to ensure Triple Zero Victoria implements the work program applying to Triple Zero Victoria for the Strategic Action Plan;

to manage any risks identified by, or reported to, the Board that affect Triple Zero Victoria's—
delivery of services; and
ability to meet the agreed performance standards;
to perform any other function conferred on the Board by or under this Act or any other Act.
In performing its functions, the Board must—
ensure that the objective of Triple Zero Victoria under section 9 is met; and
have regard to any advice that is endorsed by the Operational Committee and provided to the Board under section 59(1)(a).

In performing its functions, the Board must ensure that the services provided by Triple Zero Victoria are consistent with prudent financial management practices, including by complying with—
requirements under the Financial Management Act 1994; and
budget projections within Triple Zero Victoria.
