55 Review by Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal

A person may apply to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal for review of—
S. 55(1)(a) amended by No. 22/2022 s. 185(1).
a decision to refuse the person's application for registration or endorsement of registration or renewal of the registration or endorsement; or
S. 55(1)(b) substituted by No. 22/2022 s. 185(2).
a decision of the Board to impose, vary or revoke a condition, limitation or restriction on the person's registration as a veterinary practitioner; or
S. 55(1)(ba) inserted by No. 22/2022 s. 185(2).
a decision of the Board to refuse to impose, vary or revoke a condition, limitation or restriction on the person's registration as a veterinary practitioner; or
S. 55(1)(c) amended by No. 22/2022 s. 185(3).
a decision of the Board to suspend the registration of the person, if the Board has not instituted an investigation into the professional conduct or ability to practise of that person within a reasonable time of having suspended that registration; or
S. 55(1)(ca) inserted by No. 22/2022 s. 185(4).
a decision of the Board under section 7AA to cancel the specific registration of the person; or
S. 55(1)(d) amended by No. 22/2022 s. 185(5).
a finding or determination made at a formal hearing under Part 3 in relation to the person.

The application must be made within 28 days after the date on which the Board gives notice of the decision, finding or determination to the person concerned.

If a finding has been made at a formal hearing under Part 3 but no final determination has been made at that hearing, an application for review under this section can only be made with the leave of the Tribunal.
