23B Terms of appointment of the chief executive officer

(1)

The chief executive officer is appointed subject to the terms and conditions (including remuneration and allowances) set out in the instrument of appointment.

(2)

The Commission, in consultation with the Minister, may remove the chief executive officer from office.

(3)

The chief executive officer may resign office by writing signed by the chief executive officer and delivered to the Commission.

(4)

The Public Administration Act 2004 (other than Part 3 of that Act) applies to the chief executive officer in respect of the chief executive officer's appointment.
