54 Inspectors
(1)
Subject to subsection (2), a person who was a gambling and liquor inspector immediately before the commencement of section 50 of the amending Act is taken, on and after that commencement, to be a gambling and casino inspector appointed under section 40.
(2)
Subsection (1) does not apply to a person who has been appointed as a liquor inspector under section 172ZA of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (as inserted by section 22 of the amending Act) before the commencement of section 50 of the amending Act.
