29 Outcome of consulting assessment
The consulting medical practitioner must assess the person as eligible for access to voluntary assisted dying if the consulting medical practitioner is satisfied that—
the person meets all the eligibility criteria for access to voluntary assisted dying; and
the person understands the information required to be provided under section 28(1); and
the person is acting voluntarily and without coercion; and
the person's request for access to voluntary assisted dying is enduring.
If the consulting medical practitioner is not satisfied as to any matter in subsection (1), the consulting medical practitioner must assess the person requesting access to voluntary assisted dying as ineligible for access to voluntary assisted dying.
