84AAN Revocation of permit
The Minister, by written notice served on the holder of a levee maintenance permit, may revoke the permit.
The Minister may only act under subsection (1)—
following a request to do so by the holder of the permit; or
if the Minister is of the opinion that there has been a failure to comply with any term or condition of the permit.
A notice served under subsection (1) must specify the reasons for the revocation.
A revocation takes effect—
on the day on which written notice of the revocation is served on the permit holder; or
on a later day specified in the notice.
