Maximum fine which may be imposed

Current

A fine must not exceed—

(a)

if it is imposed in respect of a single offence, 5 penalty units or the maximum fine which may be imposed on an adult for the same offence, whichever is the lower amount; or

(b)

if it is imposed in respect of more than one offence, a total of 10 penalty units.
