Part 2Privatisation of the Bank

7 Method of privatisation

(1)

The Treasurer may by order determine that the Bank is to be fully privatised or partially privatised —

(a)

by public float; or

(b)

by private placement; or

(c)

by some other means,

or by any combination of the methods referred to in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c).

(2)

A privatisation order may contain such incidental or supplementary provisions as the Treasurer thinks fit.

(3)

The Treasurer may at any time before the day of privatisation amend or revoke a privatisation order.

(4)

A privatisation order and any amendment or revocation is to be published in the Gazette.
