105 Making an interim recovery plan
The CEO may, by instrument, make an interim recovery plan if the CEO is satisfied that —
(a)
it is necessary to make provision for the conservation, protection and management of a threatened species or threatened ecological community in order to stop the decline of, and support the recovery of, the species or community so that its chances of long‑term survival in the wild are maximised; but
(b)
there is insufficient scientific information available to allow the preparation of a recovery plan for that threatened species or threatened ecological community.
