213 Issuing entry warrant

(1)

A JP may issue an entry warrant if satisfied that it is necessary for a wildlife officer to enter a place or vehicle for inspection purposes.

(2)

An entry warrant must contain the following information —

(a)

a reasonably particular description of the place or vehicle to which it relates;

(b)

a reasonably particular description of the inspection purpose for which entry to the place or vehicle is required;

(c)

the period, not exceeding 30 days, during which it may be executed;

(d)

the name of the JP who issued it;

(e)

the date and time when it was issued.

(3)

If a JP refuses to issue an entry warrant, the JP must record on the application the fact of, the date and time of, and the reasons for, the refusal.
