171 Listing of threatened species
The specially protected fauna notice is, in relation to the fauna referred to in clause 3(a), (b) and (c) of the notice, taken to be an order made by the Minister under section 19(1) of the Act, subject to the following modifications —
a species of fauna specified in Schedule 1 of the notice is taken to be a threatened species in the category of critically endangered species;
a species of fauna specified in Schedule 2 of the notice is taken to be a threatened species in the category of endangered species;
a species of fauna specified in Schedule 3 of the notice is taken to be a threatened species in the category of vulnerable species.
The rare flora notice is, in relation to the flora referred to in clause 3(a), (b) and (c) of the notice, taken to be an order made by the Minister under section 19(1) of the Act, subject to the following modifications —
a species of flora specified in Schedule 1 of the notice is taken to be a threatened species in the category of critically endangered species;
a species of flora specified in Schedule 2 of the notice is taken to be a threatened species in the category of endangered species;
a species of flora specified in Schedule 3 of the notice is taken to be a threatened species in the category of vulnerable species.
