42 Fauna transfer authority
A fauna transfer authority is an authority issued by the CEO for the purposes of this regulation.
A fauna transfer authority is required if —
herpetofauna in Category B or Category C held under a fauna possessing (pet keeper’s) licence is to be transferred to another holder of a fauna possessing (pet keeper’s) licence; or
avian fauna in Category C held under a fauna possessing (pet keeper’s) licence is to be transferred to another holder of a fauna possessing (pet keeper’s) licence.
The holder of a licence must not transfer fauna in contravention of the requirement in subregulation (2).
Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of $5 000.
An application to the CEO for a fauna transfer authority must —
be made in the manner and form approved by the CEO; and
include all information required by the form approved under paragraph (a); and
be accompanied by the appropriate fee specified in Schedule 7.
