44 Releasing fauna
A person must not release from confinement any fauna taken or possessed under a licence unless —
(a)
the release is authorised under the conditions of the licence; or
(b)
the release —
(i)
is authorised by an authorisation given by the CEO or a wildlife officer for the purposes of this regulation; and
(ii)
is in accordance with any conditions of that authorisation.
Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
