157 Publication of certain declarations
(1)
In this section —
declaration means a declaration made under section 11, 12 or 22(2).
(2)
A declaration is not subsidiary legislation for the purposes of the Interpretation Act 1984.
(3)
The Interpretation Act 1984 sections 43 (other than subsection (6)) and 44 and Part VIII apply to a declaration as if it were subsidiary legislation.
(4)
Publication of a declaration must be effected —
(a)
by publishing the declaration in the Gazette; or
(b)
by publishing in the Gazette a notice stating that the declaration has been made and that particulars of the declaration may be obtained from the head office of the department and the department’s electronic site.
