175 Service of notice by publication
Without limiting sections 173 and 174, a pest exclusion notice or a pest control notice may be given by publishing a copy of the notice in the Gazette and in a newspaper circulating generally in the area where the land, premises or thing to which the notice relates is situated.
A notice given under subsection (1) must be published not less than one month before the date specified in the notice as the date on or before which the person to whom the notice is given must commence to comply with the notice.
A notice given under subsection (1) —
may be directed to any number of owners or occupiers of land or other persons; and
is to be taken to be given to the owner and occupier of any land specified in the notice, and to the owner and occupier, and any person in control or management, of any premises or any other thing specified in the notice.
