64 Purposes for which an inspection may be carried out

An inspection may be carried out for any or all of the following purposes —

(a)

to search for or inspect any organism, agricultural product, animal feed, identifier, chemical product or potential carrier, or anything else regulated by this Act;

(b)

to search for and inspect any records that are kept under or for the purposes of this Act, or that are relevant to determining whether this Act is being complied with;

(c)

to ascertain whether this Act, or a management plan, code of practice, direction, notice or other instrument given, issued, made or adopted under this Act is being complied with;

(d)

to search for and seize or otherwise obtain evidence of a contravention of this Act;

(e)

any other prescribed purpose.
