106 Entry warrant to enter place
An authorised person may apply to a JP for an entry warrant authorising the entry of a place for a compliance purpose.
An authorised person may apply for an entry warrant for a place even if, under this Act, the authorised person may enter the place without an entry warrant.
The application must be made in accordance with the Criminal Investigation Act 2006 section 13 and section 13(8) of that Act applies in relation to the entry warrant.
An application for a warrant must —
describe with reasonable particularity the place to be entered; and
state that the authorised person has reasonable grounds for believing that entry to the place is necessary for a compliance purpose; and
state the purposes for which entry to the place is required; and
include any other information that is prescribed to be in the warrant.
