35 Notification of certain offences
A registered building service provider must give the Board written notice if the provider is charged with a serious offence.
Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
A registered building service provider must give the Board written notice if the provider is convicted of a serious offence.
Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
A registered building service provider must give the Board written notice if the provider is convicted of an offence against a law of the Commonwealth or another jurisdiction in connection with the provision of a building service.
Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
Subsection (3) does not apply in respect of a conviction for an offence against this Act.
The notice referred to in subsections (1), (2) and (3) must be given to the Board no later than 7 days after the conviction or charge.
