99 False or misleading information
A person must not, in relation to an application under this Act or the compliance, or purported compliance, with any requirement under this Act to give the Board advice or information —
make a statement which the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular; or
make a statement which is false or misleading in a material particular, with reckless disregard as to whether or not the statement is false or misleading in a material particular; or
provide, or cause to be provided, information that the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular; or
provide, or cause to be provided, information that is false or misleading in a material particular, with reckless disregard as to whether the information is false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty: a fine of $25 000.
