20 Election of Lord Mayor
(1)
The Lord Mayor is to be elected by the electors of the district of Perth under the Local Government Act 1995 Part 4.
(2)
The Local Government Act 1995 sections 2.11 to 2.14 do not apply to the City of Perth.
(3)
The Local Government Act 1995 Schedule 4.1A applies to the office of Lord Mayor.
Note for this subsection:
The Local Government Act 1995 Schedule 4.1A sets out how a vacancy in the office of an elector mayor or president (as defined in section 1.4 of that Act) is to be filled in certain circumstances.
