100 False copies of rules

(1)

A person who gives to a member of a co‑operative or to a person intending or applying to become a member of a co‑operative a copy of any rules or any alterations of rules, other than those which have been duly registered, representing that they are binding on the members of the co‑operative is guilty of an offence.

Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $1 000.

(2)

A person who alters any of the rules of a co‑operative after they have been registered and circulates them representing that they have been duly registered when they have not been is guilty of an offence.

Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $1 000.
