234 Notice of appointment etc. of directors and officers
A co‑operative must give notice to the Registrar in accordance with this section of the appointment of a person as a director, chief executive officer or secretary of the co‑operative and of the cessation of the appointment.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $2 000.
The notice must —
be in the form approved by the Registrar; and
be given within 28 days after the appointment or cessation of appointment; and
state the particulars, prescribed by the regulations, of the appointment or cessation of appointment.
Despite The Criminal Code section 23B(2), it is immaterial for the purposes of subsection (1) that any event occurred by accident.
