340 Registrar to be given notice and opportunity to make submissions
The Supreme Court may, on the application of an appropriate person as defined in section 339(1), make an order under this Division approving a compromise or arrangement if the Court is satisfied that —
(a)
at least 14 days notice of the hearing of the application for the order, or a shorter period of notice the Court or the Registrar permits, has been given to the Registrar; and
(b)
the Registrar has had a reasonable opportunity to examine —
(i)
the terms of that compromise or arrangement; and
(ii)
the explanatory statement to be sent to creditors or members under section 349,
and make submissions to the Court.
