450 Power of Registrar to intervene in proceedings
The Registrar may intervene in proceedings relating to a matter arising under this Act.
When the Registrar intervenes in proceedings, the Registrar is taken to be a party to the proceedings and, subject to this Act, has all the rights, duties and liabilities of a party to the proceedings.
The Registrar may appear and be represented in any proceedings in which the Registrar wishes to intervene under this section —
by a person to whom the Registrar has delegated the Registrar’s functions under this Act or the functions relating to a matter to which the proceedings relate; or
by an employee of the public service who is engaged in the administration of this Act; or
by a legal practitioner.
