11 Removal and resignation

A Member (including a Member holding office under section 9(1)(a) or (b)) ceases to be a Member if he or she —

(a)

resigns in writing to the Minister; or

(b)

is, for 3 consecutive meetings, absent without the leave of the Board, from meetings of the Board of which he or she has had notice; or

(c)

is removed from office by the Governor on the grounds that the Member —

(i)

is incapable of satisfactorily performing the duties of a Member; or

(ii)

has neglected to satisfactorily perform those duties; or

(iii)

has been guilty of misconduct;

or

(d)

is, according to the Interpretation Act 1984 section 13D, a bankrupt or a person whose affairs are under insolvency laws; or

(e)

dies.
