9 Fishing in restricted areas
(1)
A person must not, without lawful authority, in a restricted area —
(a)
engage in a fishing activity prohibited in that area under regulation 5; or
(b)
contravene a restriction imposed on a fishing activity in that area under regulation 5.
Penalty: a fine of $1 000.
(2)
In this regulation —
fishing activity has the same meaning as in the Fish Resources Management Act 1994.
