56 Coroner not to be called as witness
(1)
A coroner must not be called to give evidence in any court or legal proceedings about anything coming to the coroner’s knowledge in carrying out the coroner’s powers, duties or functions under this Act.
(2)
Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to proceedings against a coroner for anything done in bad faith.
