62 Identifying information of volunteers
Unless subsection (2) applies, identifying information of a volunteer obtained under Part 4 Division 2 —
must not —
be compared with other information, whether or not in a forensic database; or
be put in a forensic database,
except in accordance with the decision of the volunteer, or responsible person, made or changed under section 20; and
[(b) deleted]
must be destroyed in accordance with the decision of the volunteer, or responsible person, made or changed under section 20.
If a volunteer from whom identifying information is obtained under Part 4 Division 2 —
is subsequently reasonably suspected of having committed a serious offence, section 66 applies to the information; or
is subsequently charged with a serious offence, section 67 applies to the information,
unless the information should have been destroyed.
