55 Financial institution giving information under s. 53 or 54, protection for
(1)
An action, suit or proceeding in relation to the giving of information under section 53 does not lie against —
(a)
the financial institution that gives the information; or
(b)
an officer of the institution acting within his or her authority.
(2)
An action, suit or proceeding in relation to a financial institution’s response to a requirement under section 54 does not lie against —
(a)
the financial institution; or
(b)
an officer of the financial institution who is acting within his or her authority.
