144 Disclosure of information to authorities in another participating jurisdiction
A person or body in the State who is authorised under a law of the State to disclose information to another person or body in the State (a State authority) may disclose that information to a person or body in another participating jurisdiction (an interstate authority) if —
the interstate authority exercises powers that correspond with the powers exercised by the State authority; and
the information is relevant to the administration of the cross‑border laws of the State or of that other jurisdiction.
The CEO (corrections) may authorise the disclosure of information about persons who are being or have been dealt with under the State’s cross‑border laws to a person or body (whether in the State or elsewhere) for use in research.
The CEO (corrections) may establish procedures for the disclosure of information under this section.
