100K Postal voting in particular places
In this section —
medical practitioner means a person registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia) in the medical profession (other than as a student);
relevant place means —
a mobile voting place that is a location or place, or part of a location or place, referred to in section 90(1)(d); or
an institution, or an institution in a class, prescribed by the regulations as an institution or class to which this section applies.
A medical practitioner may direct a person not to visit an elector who resides, or is temporarily staying, in a relevant place in connection with or in relation to the elector voting by postal voting at the relevant place.
If a medical practitioner directs under subsection (2) a person not to visit an elector, the person must not visit the elector at the relevant place in connection with or in relation to the elector voting by postal voting at the relevant place.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $1 000.
