100T Offences about custody of documents
If an elector gives a person a postal vote application or an envelope containing or purporting to contain a postal ballot paper so that the person can send or deliver the application or envelope to an officer, the person must send or deliver it to an officer.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $1 000.
A person must not open an envelope which is addressed to the Electoral Commissioner and in which a postal ballot paper or an envelope containing a postal ballot paper has been enclosed unless the person is the Electoral Commissioner or is authorised to do so by the Electoral Commissioner.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $1 000.
