175SV Updating details on third‑party campaigners register

(1)

If the information about a registered third‑party campaigner included in the third‑party campaigners register under section 175SS(2)(a) changes, the responsible person for the registered third‑party campaigner must notify the Electoral Commissioner of the change of details within the period of 30 days beginning on the day on which the change occurs.

Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $6 000.

(2)

The responsible person does not commit an offence under subsection (1) if the responsible person has a reasonable excuse.
