79 Code of conduct
The Authority may, in consultation with the committee, approve a code of conduct under this section.
The code of conduct is to regulate and control the conduct of —
the holders of retail licences, distribution licences and integrated regional licences; and
electricity marketing agents,
with the object of —
defining standards of conduct in the supply and marketing of electricity to small use customers and providing for compensation payments to be made to small use customers when standards of conduct are not met; and
protecting small use customers from undesirable marketing conduct.
The code of conduct may contain such ancillary and incidental provisions as are necessary or expedient for the purposes of subsection (2).
