8 Reporting officer
(1)
In this regulation —
Department means the department of the Public Service principally assisting the Minister in the administration of the Act;
employee has the meaning given in the Public Sector Management Act 1994 section 3(1).
(2)
As soon as practicable after repeal day, the Minister must designate an employee in the Department as the reporting officer for the purposes of these regulations.
(3)
It is a function of the AEMO to assist the reporting officer in the performance of the reporting officer’s functions under these regulations.
