In force

(1)

A gas distribution operator contravenes this section if the operator —

(a)

transports gas through a distribution system; and

(b)

is not a member of an approved retail market scheme in force for that system.

(2)

A retail gas operator contravenes this section if the operator —

(a)

sells gas that is transported through a distribution system; and

(b)

is not a member of an approved retail market scheme in force for that system.

(3)

Subsections (1) and (2) have effect subject to —

(a)

section 11ZOE; and

(b)

any exemption granted under section 11ZOS.

(4)

A person who contravenes this section is liable to a penalty under section 11ZOT.
