46 Interim code of practice, regulations may prescribe
(1)
The regulations may prescribe a code of practice even though the procedures set out in section 44 have not been followed or completed.
(2)
A code of practice prescribed under this section is an interim code of practice, and may have effect for a period (not exceeding 6 months) specified in the regulations.
