38A Offences in relation to SES, VMRS and FES operations
A person must not obstruct or hinder a relevant officer in the performance of the officer’s functions under Part 3A, 3B or 3.
Penalty: $5 000.
A person must not wilfully damage or interfere with —
the property of an SES Unit, a VMRS Group or a FES Unit; or
any property of the Minister used for the performance of the FES Commissioner’s functions under Part 3A, 3B or 3.
Penalty: $5 000.
In this section —
relevant officer means —
a member of staff; or
a member of an SES Unit, a VMRS Group or a FES Unit,
who is performing a function under Part 3A, 3B or 3.
