13 Immediate possession
(1)
A person’s possession of a thing is immediate possession of the thing if the person —
(a)
has actual physical possession of the thing; or
(b)
has custody or control of the thing in close proximity to the person.
(2)
A person does not have a firearm or other thing in the person’s immediate possession when possession is possession in compliant storage.
