Application of other provisions to permits
137 Application of other provisions to permits
The following provisions of this Act apply to a permit as if a reference in the provision to a licence were a reference to a permit and a reference to a licensee were a reference to a permit holder —
section 21 (which prevents the grant of a licence to authorise the possession of a firearm unless the Commissioner is satisfied that the person has a genuine reason for the licence);
section 22 (which prevents the grant of a licence to authorise the use of a firearm unless the Commissioner is satisfied that the firearm is suitable and appropriate for the use to be authorised);
any provision of this Act that is expressed to extend to a permit.
