164 Requirement to provide relevant information
In this section —
relevant information —
means information relevant to consideration of an application; and
includes information that the Commissioner considers necessary for the purpose of forming an opinion as to whether a person is a fit and proper person to hold a firearm authority.
The Commissioner may require an applicant to provide relevant information to the Commissioner in addition to information provided with the application, and may make such a requirement more than once.
An applicant must comply with a requirement to provide relevant information within the period (not less than 28 days after the requirement is made) specified by the Commissioner.
The Commissioner may require an applicant to attend an interview with a police officer or employee of the Department (the interviewer) at a reasonable time and place and provide relevant information by answering questions asked by the interviewer at the interview.
