218 Offence while in immediate possession of large sum of money
(1)
A person who unlawfully possesses a firearm or major firearm part in circumstances in which the person was in immediate possession of both the firearm or major firearm part and an amount of money equal to or greater than the amount prescribed by the regulations commits a crime.
Penalty for this subsection: imprisonment for 14 years.
(2)
A person does not commit a crime under subsection (1) if the person has a lawful excuse for possessing the money concerned.
