380 Commissioner’s decisions made in reliance on information provided
(1)
A decision made by the Commissioner is not liable to be called into question or annulled by reason only that it was made in full or partial reliance on information provided to the Commissioner under this Part that is subsequently shown to be factually incorrect.
(2)
The Commissioner must reconsider the decision if requested to do so by the person adversely affected to determine the extent to which the decision should, or might, be varied as a result of the correction of those factual errors.
