408 Directions about corresponding provisions and pending applications
The Commissioner may give directions that —
determine any questions as to which licence, permit or approval under this Act corresponds to a licence, permit or approval under the 1973 Act; or
determine any question as to which provision of this Act corresponds to a provision of the 1973 Act for the purposes of this Part; or
determine that a reference in this Part to the corresponding provision of the 1973 Act is to be read as a reference to a specified provision of the 1973 Act; or
modify the operation of a provision of this Act in respect of a pending application to make appropriate provision for differences between this Act and the 1973 Act; or
modify the effect of anything done or commenced under the 1973 Act in respect of a pending application to ensure that it has an appropriate effect under this Act.
Directions under subsection (1) have effect according to their terms.
