3 Application of Energy Coordination (Gas Tariffs) Regulations 2000 extended

The Energy Coordination (Gas Tariffs) Regulations 2000, other than regulation 8 of those regulations, apply for the purposes of the Gas Corporation (Business Disposal) Act 1999 as if, in those regulations —

(a)

in regulation 4(1), instead of the definition of “supply”, the definition were as follows —

supply means a sale or supply described in section 38(2) of the Gas Corporation (Business Disposal) Act 1999;

”;

(b)

in regulation 5(1), “30 June 2002” were deleted and the following were inserted instead —

“ 31 December 2001 ”;

(c)

in regulation 6(1), “30 June 2002” were deleted and the following were inserted instead —

“ 31 December 2001 ”;

(d)

in regulation 6(3), in the definition of “existing standard contract customer”, “small use customer” were deleted and the following were inserted instead —

“ customer, other than a small use customer, ”;

(e)

in regulation 6(5), in the definition of “approved contract”, “section 26(2)(c) of the Act” were deleted and the following were inserted instead —

regulation 4 of the Gas Corporation (Business Disposal) (Gas Tariffs) Regulations 2000

”;

(f)

in regulation 6(5), in the definition of “new customer”, “small use customer” were deleted and the following were inserted instead —

“ customer, other than a small use customer, ”.
