17 Oath of office by Director and staff
(1)
Before commencing to carry out his or her duties under this Act the Director and each member of the staff of the Office are to take an oath or make an affirmation that he or she —
(a)
will faithfully and impartially perform those duties; and
(b)
will not, except in accordance with this Act, divulge any information received under this Act.
(2)
The Director’s oath or affirmation is to be taken by a Judge and that of a member of the staff is to be taken by the Director.
