Options in relation to suspected breach of discipline

Current

If an employing authority of an employee is made aware, or becomes aware, by any means that the employee may have committed a breach of discipline, the employing authority may —

(a)

decide to deal with the matter as a disciplinary matter under this Division in accordance with the relevant regulations; or

(b)

decide that it is appropriate —

(i)

to take improvement action with respect to the employee; or

(ii)

to take no action.
