105 Guidelines for local heritage surveys
The Council must issue guidelines about the preparation, review and periodic updating of local heritage surveys, including guidelines about the following —
criteria for the inclusion of places in the survey;
assessment processes;
processes for consultation with interested parties and with the public;
processes for reviewing and updating the survey, and the frequency of reviews;
processes and mechanisms for making surveys available to the public;
any other matter the Council considers appropriate.
The guidelines must be published in the prescribed way.
The Council may amend or revoke the guidelines.
An amendment or revocation under subsection (3) must be published in the prescribed way.
The guidelines are not subsidiary legislation for the purposes of the Interpretation Act 1984.
